armer Bought this record at first sight, worth the purchase, such a damn good record. Favorite track: I am a Trans-Continental Railroad, Please Run a Train on Me.

hoyholyhoy Typically, I don't find myself listening to a bunch of this style nowadays, but SYSC just brings me back to the good old days of highschool listening to the crustiest, garagiest, most out-there punk bands. This is a wild time. Favorite track: You Can't Get Goose Justice In a Fox Court, Just Spit on the Judge.

therealchrisdearing This is the pinnacle of the myspace revival, and it is just as good as the releases that influenced it.

supercoolguy neither of them are screamo, they're emoviolence. learn the difference you fools. Favorite track: glass vampires roam these darkened woods fellas (protek ya nek).
flightoficarus (Metal Trenches)
flightoficarus (Metal Trenches) thumbnail
flightoficarus (Metal Trenches) True to form, this split is an energetic, technical act of violence played on fast forward. The longest track is only a minute and a half, and that's all either of these bands needs to get their point across. It's noisy, vulgar, and just a damn good time. Expect a Number Twelve vibe from SeeYouSpaceCowboy while secondgradeknifefight is more of a noisegrind experience; and neither group is afraid to throw in some death growls here and there.

thecallousdaoboys I could not be more proud of this band. They Inspire me in so many ways, within their tracks, and outside of music as well. Favorite track: You Don't Understand, the Liquor Is Calling the Shots Now, Randy Bobandy.

Wait or they said move, this is the count down of the sterile sun. As the "Truth" play the part so full of heart these rapid breakdowns of the blissful parts. Brace the turn, burn the junction, brace the churn, burn the junction. Trying, Trying for your sake, This is blood from my heart. As I look back at the burning halo. Well you came and said, stop I think they get it, I would like to see it, well i guess we'll see, Well you came and said, stop I think they get it, please burn the king, please kill the dream
2.
straight step, go around again, righteous precinct, just bare your teeth better. recourse of the shackled hand, get a dull knife mark an “x” on the master’s head. restart, back to the brink. transplant, if the noose fits. all systems go, all systems go, you bless your firearm
3.
Reckless foreplay, oh sweet ideals,(Cease fire) target's first step, off the bullseye, (Cease fire) now bare your teeth. I am something you made me, I am I am I am, don't look back. Restart restart the wind now, you said you said it's okay, it all it all begins now, I know I know we're in now.
4.
I’m trying to kill the son, when I should kill the God. wait they say the serpent’s tirade ended, wait they say our love line is sick someone blame, tear out the values and aim, that’s the righteous. I’m in a car crash and I can’t keep track of the motion, some of the faces I guess they know what I mean but they don’t really get it anymore, i started to write down words and I guess I lost track of what they meant, It’s okay I never really cared much anyway, All the souls cry out like a ringing telephone and i can’t keep track of who wants to know anything anymore, I guess I guess I’ll never find out.
5.
How why enemy does it hurt you? I don’t know why I like breaking all these things but why am I wrong? I the bastard. Why did I? Why’d I die? Why did I? Why’d I die? When did I? When did I die? In my head, I am dead. Where are you? Where are you? What are you? God, trust me.
6.
Crying bride lies. In a place that’s not my own. I don’t want to be why Im stabbed by mine. Why I strike my eyes out. All the same but all are stayed behind this wall. All the same was all that my lungs could take on me. Its a part of why, why I lie and wait.
7.
Bleeding my heart on my name, gone are broken memories. I know. Hurt.
8.
I never said bye. Why? Why? Why? I never. Why? Why? Got over. Why? Why? Why? I never. Why? Why? I’ll never know. Pain, hey, hey, why did you suck my blood? Pain, hey, we, where are my shattered eyes?
9.
Blinding was the shower. Our life was the tragedy. Blinding was the shower. Our life was the child of blinding light. I might breathe, lie, I was a martyr. On and on, blood. On and on, brother. You will not save my enemy. Blinding light, to the youngest crow.

about

“...grueling screams and bouncing grooves that wreak havoc with discordant guitars and hectic rhythmic patterns...the frequent dissonance is overcharged with a primal hostility. Each track is a quick high tonal release of energy.” NewNoiseMagazine.com

“‘Split of the year’, ‘endlessly listenable,’ ‘criminally short,’ ‘an essential addition to canon’ -you could give it a plethora of names and descriptions, but even with the greatest review written, you’ll never understand until you experience it yourself.” Idioteq.com

“As outlandish and energetic as shit comes, SeeYouSpaceCowboy live somewhere in the freaky vacuum that MySpace grind left behind. The discordant ditties and psycho-funk breaks on “Stop Calling Us Screamo” are polished relics of the era, giving away to huge breakdowns with panic chords for days. The anarchic declarations and inward looking lyrics are as much a call to the past as they are the present. Splitting hairs and tight pants with violent gusto...chalking up another cybergrind/violence/electronics entry for a solo roller, the secondgradeknifefight side of this split is intense. Seriously intense. It also has a sample from Scary Movie in it and that is very cool. Watched it last week. Init.” HeavyBlogIsHeavy.com

“True to form, this split is an energetic, technical act of violence played on fast forward. The longest track is only a minute and a half, and that's all either of these bands needs to get their point across. It's noisy, vulgar, and just a damn good time.” Metaltrenches.com

“The entire split clocks in at roughly 10 minutes in length. That may seem like a ludicrously short amount of time, but another minute or two from either band could cause cerebral hemorrhaging in some not prepared for this kind of chaos. Overall it is an insane, mind-boggling release that is fun in the most masochistic sense of the word.” Svbterranean.net

“Two of today’s best mathgrind acts...the nine-track EP sees some of the best material from each band.” CanThisEvenBeCalledMusic.com

"Overall, this is a killer split and definitely should not be missed." DeadPulpit.com

"9 songs, 9 assaults with breakdowns, sharp grind and furious noise, category: white belt. A split not far from becoming iconic at this stage, and I still like SeeYouSpaceCowboy; excellent in the art of sounding primitive and complex at the same time. SECONDGRADEKNIFEFIGHT punctuates his sample music, chaining grind and mathcore at an infernal speed, drowning everything under an ocean of noise adding violence to his music. A hellish split, but in the good sense of the word!" LeDictionnairedelEmo.blogspot.com
