nnpoc. It's gut-punching, inside-ripping, and absolutely fucking mental. This is pure mathcore with hints of prog and it's beautiful. Favorite track: Papa's Got a Brand New Bed.

Darknight Juan Bond have such a cool sound which is defo there own, crazy off kilter riffs and a vocalist to die for. What I really like about this record is that they like to experiment and expand their sound by adding killer string sections and horn parts. Excellent record. Favorite track: Morbid Mortgage.

sinisetkimallus The long awaited full-length album from Juan Bond is here. Womb is an edifying record and every second of it is bristling with power.

about

"..Womb is something of a cross between Dillinger Escape Plan, hardcore, and 2000s metalcore. When the band takes off with “Garbage Juice”, it is a full-on in-your-face slice of gnarled mathcore that sets the stage for the rest of the record. Balancing melody and aggression but leaning more on the latter. And with this, the fun has only just begun." MetalInjection.net

"Womb is, in every way, the first contender for end-of-the-year lists, and the year has barely kicked off. Juan Bond have a unique style which seems to be extremely homogenous and crystallized. While bits of their blend can be compared to a bunch of bands, it’s pointless. They’re truly their own thing, and I hope that they will lead this torch forward and set the genre ablaze with their fiery display of musical prowess." EverythingIsNoise.net

“This five-piece conjurs the explosive energy from all your skronky faves with the added benefit of string accompaniment, so if you ever wanted to hear ferocious Dillinger riffs and melodic Number 12-style choruses paired with wailing violins, you’ve just found your new favorite band.” HeavyBlogIsHeavy.com

"...Juan Bond sound like the possible result of The Dillinger Escape Plan covering some hardcore. The soulful abrasion of bands like The Number Twelve Looks Like You also shines through in Juan Bond’s triumphant tracks." CapturedHowls.com

A true free electron of the mathcore scene, Juan Bond signs a breathtaking tornado of cries, tormented riffs but also bittersweet emotions. In the manner of The Dillinger Escape Plan or The Number Twelve Looks Like You (but also of Kiss Kiss thanks to the presence of the violin), the group from Brooklyn puts no limits and takes us into a universe as crazy as poetic, well disconnected from everything that is happening in the real world."
